What you’ll find here
Yosemite Lakes Park is a non-gated community in the Central California Sierra Mountain foothills located between Yosemite National Park and Fresno near the unincorporated town of Coarsegold. YLP covers about 10 square miles at elevations from 900 to 2,200 feet, naturally landscaped by oak tree, pine tree, and boulder landscapes, pristine views of snowcapped mountains and the broader views of the Central Valley. All homes are custom-built on 1 acre and larger home sites. There are 2,263 parcels with about 1,870 homes.

YLP is administered by an elected board of the Yosemite Lakes Owners Association (YLOA). Declaration of Restrictions (DOR) are not stringent as YLP caters to people who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle and the community retains its character by individual pride in ownership.

Amenities include a 9-hole golf course with pro shop and coffee shop, riding/boarding stable, clubhouse with restaurant, lounge and library, swimming pool and tennis courts, a ball field, picnic areas, basketball court, volleyball court, tether ball, private security, storage facility, hiking/riding trails and fishing lakes.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Executive Director with a strong entrepreneurial drive, outstanding leadership and communication skills, strong business acumen, excellent planning, and organizational skills. The Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the iconic community. The Executive Director must cultivate and maintain many important relationships for the association including working related governing entities, and provide service deliverables while managing effective and fiscally sound operations.


Executive Director Duties Include:

  • Manages timely and quarterly managers' performance evaluations and oversee and sign all employees' quarterly evaluations performed by the YLOA managers.
  • Oversee the complete operation of the association in accordance with the direction established by the board, applicable federal and state laws, governance, and statutory regulations
  • Partner with the board to develop and successfully execute the association’s vision, mission, and overall direction
  • Effectively liaise between multiple governing entities and community leadership to cultivate a cohesive working environment and relationship that leads to optimal business and community outcomes
  • Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the association, especially related to financial standing
  • Set the strategic direction of the association and monitor progress and growth
  • Support association initiatives and general operations
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility with the association and the board 
  • Provide accurate analysis of budgets, reports, financial trends, and operational procedures
  • Create, improve, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that will improve operational and financial effectiveness
  • Serve as a liaison between the RealManage/GrandManors shared services, back-office, on-site staff, and the board of directors for operational effectiveness
  • Represent the association through civic and professional responsibilities and activities in the local community
  • Lead, mentor and interact with on-site staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development 
  • Recruit, select, train, and manage the performance of on-site leaders
  • Assist with escalated requests as needed
  • Lead and facilitate all annual and budget meetings, board meetings, and other meetings as required
  • Review issues and look for solutions to obstacles or gaps in service
  • Respond promptly to employee or community needs and step in to assist with difficult situations
  • Solicit employee and board feedback to improve overall service
  • Plus any other tasks needed or assigned by supervisor 

 

Qualifications

 

  • HOA onsite management experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • MBA or MPA preferred, or similar advanced degree
  • 5-10 years of HOA industry experience preferred
  • 5–10-years of leadership experience required
  • LSM, PCAM, AMS or CMCA certifications preferred
  • Previous project management experience preferred

Pay and Benefits:

$150,000 to $200,000, depending on education and experience.
