Responsibilities

Accounting Assistant

Prestigious San Diego based Community Association Management company is currently seeking a motivated, intellectual individual that enjoys all things Accounting!

The ideal candidate will have some accounting experience that can be transferred easily to a portfolio of accounts within our Accounting department.

Walters Management has been providing community association management to homeowner’s associations and master planned communities in Southern California since 1973. Our philosophy is simple -- we aim to meet and exceed our clients' expectations and provide value through superior work product, sound advice and exceptional service.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Recording deposits
  • Post A/R payments
  • Validate daily lockbox deposits
  • Deposit checks in bank
  • Process returned items and sending letters to the homeowner
  • Research and report unidentifiable items at the bank
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The qualifications for this position include the following:

  • Two years of accounting experience
  • Excellent computer skills including spreadsheet software
  • Strong interpersonal/communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to follow established standard operating procedures and meet deadlines

Pay and Benefits:

$20.00 to $25.00, depending on education and experience.
