Responsibilities

The Onsite Landscape and Grounds Keeper Assistant - Stonebridge Ranch is the premier Association in North Texas, seeking a highly skilled Landscape and Grounds Assistant. The assistant would work alongside the Director of Landscape to manage the day-to-day operations of a 500-acre property, with the onsite team of Contractors to maintain pro-active communication with Coworkers, Homeowners, and Contractors.

 

● Respond professionally and timely to all internal and homeowner requests
● Work to fully understand Associations’ long-term goals and budgetary constraints
● Demonstrate consistent and exceptional quality control standards
● Team-oriented, collaborative approach
● Attention to detail is critical to maintaining high-quality of care
● Takes initiative and proactive approach to improve property
● Assumes responsibility, authority, and accountability for assigned tasks
● Ability to develop simple budgets, job estimates, project scopes, project specifications, and
requests for proposals. This includes assisting the Landscape and Grounds Director on a larger
scale for the above items.
● Knowledge of plant material.
● Knowledge of Irrigation Systems and Repairs. This includes programming, flow management,
pressure regulation devices, and cloud-based irrigation system management. Or the ability to obtain
one of the licenses above.
● Knowledge of appropriate chemicals used in the landscape industry for Integrated Pest Management.
● The job will be an office and field position. Supporting landscape and grounds department and
managing contractors on property.
● Knowledge, understanding, and use of general landscape maintenance and irrigation equipment:
Chainsaw, Weed eater, Loppers, Multimeter, Valve Locator.
● Manage Work Orders and Projects in the field for adherence to project scope and completion.

Qualifications

  • Professional representative of GrandManors.
  • Collaborative decision-making, relationship building, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 5 years of qualified experience, certifications, or a degree in the landscape industry.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel,
    and Adobe
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of best practices in Horticulture and Landscape Maintenance
  • Preference for TCEQ Licensed Irrigator or Technician.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to lift, carry, and hold up to 65 lbs.
  • Ability to be outside for hours a day in all weather conditions.
  • Occasional emergency or weekend work as-needed
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Plus other work related tasks as needed


Pay and Benefits:
$25.00 to $ 31.00, depending on education and experience.
